How scoring works

Great players matter most. Smart fits can push the roster higher.

The sim starts with the players you drafted, builds offense and defense ratings from those picks, then adds a small chemistry adjustment. Chemistry is not meant to beat raw talent, but it can reward rosters that make sense together.

1. Each pick gets a score

Game rating carries most of the weight. The stat profile gives productive players a bump, so a monster season can close some of the gap.

2. Units matter

QB and OL drive a lot of the offense. Front 7 drives more of the defense than the secondary. The final overall leans hardest on offense and defense.

3. Chemistry rewards fit

Same school, same era, and same conference group raise chemistry. Low chemistry can lower overall, but that penalty is capped at 3 points.

4. The season still has variance

Each game compares your roster to that week's difficulty. Better teams get better odds, but a perfect 15-0 run still takes some luck.
