CFB 27 PC save importBy Steve Brooks

How to Import a CFB 27 PC Dynasty Save

Quick answer: open your dynasty in Dynasty Central, go to Sync Data, then PC Save, and upload your offline CFB 27 save file. The import is read-only and never modifies your save.

One upload updates your rosters, ratings, coaches, recruits, schedule, results and game stats. PC save import works on every plan, including free.

CFB 25 and CFB 26 were console-only, so PC saves are new with CFB 27. On PlayStation and Xbox the save stays on the console, which is why console players import with screenshots or a short menu video instead. This guide covers what is in the save, how the upload works, and what it cannot do.

What a CFB 27 PC save contains

An offline dynasty save is the game's own database for your league. Dynasty Central reads these parts of it:

In your saveWhat you see in Dynasty Central
Players and ratingsFull rosters with ratings for your program and the league
CoachesYour coaching staff and coaches around the league
RecruitsRecruiting class and prospect data
Schedule and resultsYour schedule and results, up to the season and week in the save
Game statsPlayer and team stats from played games

How to import your save, step by step

  1. Save your dynasty in CFB 27 on PC, then close the game so the file is fully written.
  2. Find the save on your PC. CFB 27 keeps its saves in a College Football 27 folder under your Windows Documents folder. Select your offline dynasty save file; if it has no file extension, upload it as-is.
  3. In Dynasty Central, open your dynasty and go to Sync Data, then PC Save.
  4. Drop the file in or browse to it. Files up to 32 MB are accepted.
  5. If the save has more than one user-controlled program, pick the team you manage.
  6. Wait for the import to finish. You will see which season and week your dynasty is now synced through, plus counts of what was updated.
  7. Repeat after each play session. Dynasty Central detects an identical upload and skips it, so nothing is duplicated.

Limits to know

  • Offline dynasties only. Online dynasty data lives on EA's servers, so there is no local file to upload. Online league members import with screenshots or video.
  • PC only. Console saves cannot be copied off a PlayStation or Xbox for this.
  • Read-only. Dynasty Central never edits or writes back to your save, and it has no access to your EA account.
  • Unmodified saves. Saves changed by editing tools may fail to read.

On console? Use screenshots or a menu video

Console players can import their roster, recruiting board, schedule and stats screens with screenshots or a short video scrolling through those menus. Every screenshot or video import goes through a review step, so you can fix anything before it saves.

PC players who want to build their own tools can also use open-source save readers on GitHub to export a CFB 27 save to JSON or CSV. Dynasty Central is the hosted option: no install, and your data becomes a tracker and record book. The weekly AI shows need Dynasty Live ($24.99/month).
